Programs & Services
CPPA offers a variety of services to assist San Joaquin County youth and families build better lives for themselves and their community. Contact CPPA at 209.929.6700 for more information about these services.
- Non-residential crisis counseling for youth and their families in individual, group and family sessions.
- Information and referral services for youth and their families via the Safe House Hotline at 800.769.HELP (800.769.4357).
- Services for non-residential youth at the Youth Drop-In Center, including hot meals, access to laundry and shower facilities, case management and counseling.
- Emergency shelter for runaway, throwaway and homeless youth aged 12-17. Safe House offers up to 15 days of shelter with comprehensive support services.
- Preparation for independent living for runaway, throwaway and homeless youth aged 16-20. Opportunity House offers up to 18 months in its transitional living program.
- Supportive and transitional services for foster youth with special mental health needs at Casa de la Paz Group Home.
- Therapeutic group music and art experiences for youth. Music and art therapy offer at risk youth a "safe haven" for self-discovery and growth.
- Group counseling for court-referred adults with offenses related to domestic violence. The Batterers Intervention Program offers an innovative approach to anger management and domestic violence.
- Placement in appropriate volunteer positions for court-referred juveniles and adults. The Alternative Service Volunteer Program offers an alternative to incarceration and/or high court fines for individuals who are first-time offenders convicted of misdemeanors.
- The FOCUS Program offers comprehensive support services to families that have been reunified with a child (or about to be reunified) following a foster care placement.
